Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain lawn mowers, trimmers, and other equipment to maintain grass and hedges.
  • Trim and prune trees and shrubs to maintain their shape and promote healthy growth.
  • Plant flowers, grass, trees, and shrubs to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our properties.
  • Water lawns and shrubs during dry periods to ensure their health and vitality.
  • Remove leaves, paper, and other litter from our properties.
  • Remove snow from walks, driveways, roads, and parking lots during winter months.
  • Spread salt on walkways and other areas to ensure safety during icy conditions.
  • Assist in the repair of roads, walks, buildings, and mechanical equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid state driver's license required.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Ability to lift and carry groundskeeping supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged walking or standing, and frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Ability to operate manual, electrically-powered, and/or gasoline-powered groundskeeping equipment and machines.
  • Ability to access facilities and areas which may only be accessible by climbing stairs or by climbing ladders to a height of 20 feet.
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed primarily outdoors, year-round.
  • May be required to work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and precipitation.
