About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead our Mother Baby unit at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality patient care and service in our 24-bed unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise functions and activities in the assigned area
  • Ensure superior patient/customer satisfaction through exceptional care and service
  • Lead and develop a team of experienced clinicians
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve clinical excellence
  • Manage and oversee the unit's operations, including budgeting and resource allocation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Additional experience may be required in some areas based on specialty programs
  • California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire
  • Coursework/Training - Management of Aggressive Behavior within 90 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of direct RN clinical experience in a Postpartum and/or Labor and Delivery department
  • 2+ years as a RN Nurse Manager overseeing a Postpartum and/or Labor and Delivery department
  • Master's degree in nursing or related field
  • Managerial experience working in a union environment
