Position Overview:

Are you eager to contribute to an educational environment where both educators and administrators are passionate about their roles? Do you seek a leadership figure who is deeply committed to the growth, diversity, and satisfaction of their faculty and staff? Are you interested in being part of a vibrant school community that believes in the limitless potential of every student?

Our institution is dedicated to teaching students a comprehensive understanding of American history, while also addressing systemic injustices in a manner that empowers both students and staff to enact change. We actively combat systemic racism through our hiring practices, culturally responsive teaching methods, and professional development aimed at supporting historically underserved and under-resourced students.

We believe that equity is achieved through delivering rigorous, grade-level content and maintaining high expectations for all learners. In our school, equity is not merely a phrase; it is a continuous commitment to evaluating how we can best serve all students and staff.

As educators, we recognize that building strong relationships with our students is fundamental to fostering both social and academic success. We enhance our teaching practices through five hours of professional development each week, integrated within our school hours. Collaboration and peer learning are vital components of our professional growth.

This role is undoubtedly challenging, but when approached correctly, it is immensely fulfilling.
