The Cardiovascular Technician will assist in the delivery of care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with procedures in the Cath Lab, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
- Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic pressures, and cardiac rhythms, reporting any deviations to the physician.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to professional staff, providing patient education pre and post procedure.
- Participate in data collection and documentation, maintaining accurate records during procedures.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, monitoring patient outcomes and participating in Performance Improvement activities.
- Maintain own professional competence through continuing education and hospital education opportunities.
