Headache Specialist Physician Assistant in Phoenix, Arizona

Banner - University Medicine Phoenix is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team of Headache Neurologists and providers.
Role Overview: As an Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant), you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care by managing and treating various headache conditions, including migraine, facial pain, tension-type, cluster, and chronic daily headaches.
We are committed to delivering world-class care, and our team values your enthusiastic commitment to teaching. You will work in a clinic-based setting at the Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix and also provide clinical services at outpatient medical clinics located nearby.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and treat various headache conditions, including migraines and other neurological disorders.
- Collaborate with our team of neurologists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in our residency program with 25 residents and contribute to their education and training.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatments.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a hospital or clinical setting.
- A current, unrestricted Arizona NP or PA license, and prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to function in a collaborative care model.
