Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients in acute care settings.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs and goals.
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services, including modalities, exercises, and education.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, and other healthcare team members.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- New graduate physical therapist eligible; one year of experience in acute care preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy; Master's Degree preferred.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Virginia License required upon start.
