We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at the Endoscopic Surgical Centre of Maryland in Silver Spring, MD. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will be responsible for supervising and directing nursing care in all areas of the center, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate and participate in patient care services, including developing and maintaining an ongoing service team.
- Establish and maintain nursing philosophy and standards of care policies and procedures.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for clinical personnel and oversee the hiring and retention of personnel.
- Contribute to the centre's Quality Management and Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Attend Board of Directors meetings and maintain a cost-effective approach to supply and equipment management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current RN licensure and a BSN or MSN degree.
- ACLS certification and at least 3 years of prior clinical management experience, with a minimum of 2 years in an ASC setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and correct errors.
