This individual will perform routine and moderately complex daily and preventative maintenance tasks, repair machinery, and assist in construction and refurbishment of physical plant. This includes operating construction and maintenance equipment and power tools; maintaining hand tools and assigned equipment; performing preventative maintenance on equipment; and examining machinery and equipment to diagnose trouble using basic mechanical tools and equipment.

We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $23.00-$25.00 per hour, full-time benefits including medical/dental/vision/paid time off/holiday pay/401K, and the opportunity to work with a leading contract research organization (CRO) in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks to assist in the daily repair, preventative maintenance and construction of machinery and physical plant and expansion projects.
  • Operate construction and maintenance equipment and power tools; maintain hand tools and assigned equipment; perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Examine machinery and equipment to diagnose trouble using basic mechanical tools and equipment.
  • Disassemble machines and equipment and adjust, replace or repair broken or defective parts and pieces.
  • Inspect completed mechanical repairs for quality, safety, and proper operation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)
  • One to three years' experience in general building maintenance with mechanical and construction background
  • Must be able to understand and follow verbal directions
