Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting in Indian Creek, IL. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students in grades 1-5 who require speech and language services. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders, an Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License, and a Professional Educators' License.

Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for speech services and present evaluation results at IEP meetings
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload
  • Provide reports of a student's progress to parents
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License, issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Professional Educators' License (PEL), issued by the Illinois State Board of Education
