Job Title: Tug Boat Captain

At Sea Level Construction, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tug Boat Captain to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Tug Boat Captain to lead our vessel operations and ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maritime operations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory agencies, and industry standards.
  • Lead a team of crew members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vessels.
  • Assist with project planning and logistics.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Captain in a similar role.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-related software.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Merchant Mariners Credentials (MMC)
  • Master of Towing endorsement
  • TWIC
  • CPR/AED First Aid Certification
  • Valid Driver's license
