Cowlitz County is seeking a highly skilled ERP Business/Technical Manager to lead the day-to-day functional and technical management of our PeopleSoft Human Resource and Financial Management systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze current system status, including hardware and software needs, and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Plan, organize, and manage project teams to analyze, design, enhance, and implement PeopleSoft application systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system or application problems, collaborating with developers and programmers as needed.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of processes and procedures, and provide training to users.
  • Recommend and implement new and more efficient ways to perform processes, and provide performance tuning as needed.
  • Establish project standards and controls, and supervise the implementation process of approved projects.
  • Collaborate with Elected Officials, Department Heads, and other stakeholders to develop and implement PS solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or five years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated professional competency in the field of personal computers and software use and applications.
  • Experience developing, administering, and maintaining ERP systems and programs, specifically PeopleSoft v9.2 or higher.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
