Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at The Lending Group Co. This is a dynamic position that requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex mortgage lending processes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting the loan process from origination to approval, obtaining property documentation, determining the best loan option for borrowers, and preparing loan packages for submission to lender underwriting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Process Management: Document the loan process from origination to approval through our system
  • Property Documentation: Obtain property documentation to process mortgage loan files, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records
  • Loan Option Determination: Determine the best loan option for the borrower through interviewing and discussion
  • Loan Package Preparation: Put together loan packages and submit to lender underwriting for approval or denial
Requirements
  • Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans
  • Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement
  • Accounting, finance, or business Associate's degree preferred - High school diploma or GED required

Estimated Salary Range:

$47,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience.
