Job Overview

Southern Dental Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Orthodontist to join our team. As an Orthodontist, you will examine patients to assess abnormalities of jaw development, tooth position, and other dental-facial structures.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a DDS or DMD degree, licensed in the state in which they are practicing, and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Examine patients to assess abnormalities of jaw development, tooth position, and other dental-facial structures
  • Design and fabricate appliances, such as space maintainers, retainers, and labial and lingual arch wires
  • Coordinate orthodontic services with other dental and medical services

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • DDS or DMD degree
  • Licensed in the state in which they are practicing
  • Current BLS and CPR certification
  • A willingness and ability to relate to many different people
