Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Community Unit School District No. 308. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping students with special needs to develop the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy services to students with physical, sensory, and motor disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, as well as experience working with students with special needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with physical, sensory, and motor disabilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that students receive comprehensive support
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure that students receive the support they need
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Illinois licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with students with special needs
  • Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
