Position Summary:
The role of the Post Funding Analyst is crucial in ensuring the integrity of our loan portfolio. This position focuses on the evaluation and oversight of loans that have recently been booked or renewed, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analyses of loans post-booking to verify adherence to underwriting guidelines and collateral requirements.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of lending software, processes, and institutional policies.
- Perform risk-based portfolio assessments, communicate findings to management, and prepare detailed reports outlining necessary corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Lending Management to enhance existing processes and develop new procedures.
- Participate actively in the Customer Service First initiative, embodying the organization's values and adhering to established protocols.
- Exhibit qualities essential for success in this role, including independence, professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Word, Outlook, and Excel is required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, auditing, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in consumer or commercial lending within a financial institution.
- Familiarity with consumer and commercial loan regulations, along with a solid understanding of bank policies and procedures.
- Additional experience in lending, auditing, or accounting is advantageous.
- Ability to research, analyze, and apply banking policies and regulations effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for interaction with bank personnel and management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in various situations.
