Physical Therapy Assistant

Pivot Physical Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for physical therapy treatments, including putting on and removing supportive devices.
- Assist physical therapists during administration of treatments and provide routine treatment as needed.
- Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients in practicing exercises and functional activities under the direction of professional staff.
- Provide routine treatments, such as hot/cold packs, and other modalities as directed by physical therapists.
- Clean and maintain the work area and equipment after treatment.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork.
- Order and maintain inventory of non-medical and medical supplies.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to clearly document projects and manage production.
- Attention to detail and time management skills are required.
- Patient/client satisfaction is a top priority.
- Able to demonstrate compassion toward patients.
- Complete tasks thoroughly.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment is preferred.
Pivot Physical Therapy provides a safe and supportive work environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
