EchoPark Automotive is seeking a skilled Automotive Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our Consumer Acquisition Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely valuation and processing of used vehicle consumer inventory brought into the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and acquire high-quality used vehicles through our consumer purchasing process
- Conduct thorough market research to determine optimal pricing and negotiate deals
- Analyze reconditioning costs and make informed purchasing decisions to maximize profitability
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to ensure EchoPark Automotive remains competitive
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive sales, purchasing, or a related field
- Excellent analytical and valuation skills, with a strong understanding of market dynamics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
