Job Description

Carpenters play a crucial role in the construction and repair of building frameworks and structures. Their expertise involves constructing and repairing stairways, doorframes, partitions, and rafters using wood and other materials.

Additionally, they may be responsible for installing kitchen cabinets, siding, and drywall. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metal and wood framing, as well as root truss components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must be comfortable with metal and wood framing and root truss components
  • Reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
  • Using hand and electric tools to cut, fabricate, and install framework
  • Comfortable building and repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures
