Sanitation Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Technician to join our team at Personnel Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and customers.

• Verify and document chemical concentrations during cleanups to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain organized records for swabbing, cleaning schedules, and other documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and document cleanup procedures for all areas to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cleanup chemical and supply storage area.
• Disassemble and reassemble food processing equipment without causing damage to the equipment.
• Clean equipment using approved techniques to prevent contamination and damage.
• Attend and complete chemical safety training to stay up-to-date on the latest safety protocols.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to ensure safe handling and disposal of chemicals.
• Report any damaged or faulty equipment to ensure prompt repair or replacement.
• Perform spot cleaning during production shifts in all departments to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Completely sanitize non-operating equipment to prevent contamination and damage.
• Assist all departments in maintaining USDA-approved sanitation standards to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist with teardowns and cleanups associated with regulatory and internal inspections to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

• Demonstrate the ability to perform the essential and non-essential tasks related to the job.
• Routinely lift up to 50 pounds to perform tasks and duties.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
• Be willing to perform duties assigned and manage multiple priorities to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
• Demonstrate deductive logic skills to analyze situations and make informed decisions.
