  • Provide oversight and support to nursing and medical assistant staff as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with the incoming shift regarding patient care and operational updates.
  • Engage in quality assurance and risk management activities to enhance service delivery.
  • Deliver emergency care to individuals in critical situations until professional emergency services arrive.
  • Hold valid board certifications from recognized nursing credentialing organizations and maintain all professional obligations.
  • Review any findings from the National Practitioner Database on a case-by-case basis.
  • Ensure no prior convictions or legal issues that could affect professional responsibilities.
  • Maintain current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR/AED for healthcare providers.
  • Bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are encouraged to apply.
  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and possess at least one year of direct patient care experience.
  • Experience in correctional healthcare, ambulatory care, or pediatric settings is a plus.
