Commissioning Specialist

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is a leading consulting engineering firm that empowers clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions. As a Commissioning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-performance engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement commissioning process delivery plans based on project requirements.
  • Assist in resolving commissioning challenges and complete tasks assigned.
  • Collaborate with project partners to gather information and ensure project success.
  • Apply technical skills to support the commissioning process and ensure energy-efficient building solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or architectural design or construction.
  • General knowledge in at least one discipline area, such as fire protection, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing/piping, electrical, technology, instrumentation and controls, process or lighting systems.
  • Experience in computer operation and ability to learn engineering calculation programs and computer-aided drafting/BIM software.
  • Valid driver's license and state-required vehicle insurance.
  • Technical or Associate Degree in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or architectural design or construction engineering from an accredited technical institution or college.
  • Documented commissioning training from a nationally recognized professional body.
