Job Title: Visiting Professor of Adult Health Nursing

Chamberlain University is seeking a Visiting Professor of Adult Health Nursing to join our team of dedicated educators. As a Visiting Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our online BSN program.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, and profession.
  • Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on their level of performance based on course objectives.
  • Correct and return homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, and clinical paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the College.
  • Participate in the implementation of the College Assessment Program, campus retention efforts, and departmental and campus policies.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Unencumbered Illinois RN licensure is required.
  • Multi-State (Compact) licensure is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with a high level of initiative and prudent judgment.
  • Genuine passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning.
  • Exceptional subject matter expertise in the field of instruction with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation:

The expected compensation rate for this position is between $850/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate's education and experience.
