Job Summary

We are seeking a certified compounding pharmacist to join our team in Conway, AR. As a key member of our pharmacy operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and compliant compounding of medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Receiving and processing verbal prescription orders">
  • Maintaining professional competence for all duties performed">
  • Complying with all applicable federal and state pharmacy laws">
  • Performing duties in compliance with SOPs and best practices">
  • Interpreting and clarifying prescription orders as necessary">
  • Inputting patient and prescription information">
  • Creating, printing, and checking documents such as prescriptions and master formulation records">
  • Offering information and advice to prescribers and other healthcare professionals">
  • Counseling patients and caregivers concerning dispensed prescriptions">
  • Ensuring the quality and safety of dispensed compounded products and supplies">
  • Supervising technicians and other employees involved in day-to-day pharmacy operations">
  • Managing updates, edits, reviews, and additions to procedure documentation">
  • Providing suggestions to improve customer service and company processes">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • ">
  • A current pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Arkansas">
  • Firsthand experience with accurately and efficiently preparing non-sterile and sterile compounding">
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills">
  • An exceptional customer service orientation and ability to work effectively in a team environment">
