Job Summary

Parkridge East Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality cardiopulmonary care services to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.

Responsibilities

  • Administer respiratory care and life support to patients, including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures.
  • Utilize various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas equipment, such as masks, tents, and incubators.
  • Measure ventilatory volumes, pressures, and blood gas analysis.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and general acceptance of treatment.
  • Perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
  • TN RRT license with ABG endorsement required.
  • BLS health care provider within 30 days.
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
  • 1 year experience highly preferred.

Our 24/7 Emergency Department is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. We also offer obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures, as well as a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
