Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at Quest Diagnostics in Randleman, NC. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting specimens from patients, administering oral solutions, and performing various laboratory tasks.

• Collect specimens from patients, including blood samples, urine samples, and other bodily fluids.
• Administer oral solutions to patients as required.
• Verify patient information and test orders using lab technology systems and approved tools.
• Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties, such as inventory management, supply ordering, and data entry.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data as required.

• Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training, preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
