We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Commercial Driver (Class A with Endorsement) to transport patients and materials safely and promptly to clinic sites, representing La Maestra Community Health Centers in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:- Drive vehicles from individual or central loading areas to public housing or patient's houses or other destinations according to assigned schedules.
- Pick up patients with scheduled clinical appointments at LMFC, assist passengers into and out of vehicles, secure seat belts and children seats.
- Serve as Cultural Liaison/Interpreter and Patient Advocate for patients, maintain records of trips, number of passengers transported, and behavior in a specific log.
- Operate radios or similar devices to communicate with base stations or other vehicles to report services, ensure vehicle is washed and complete pretrip and posttrip inspection sheets.
- High School Diploma or GED; 1-2 years of experience preferred.
- Current and Valid California Class B Driver License required.
The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $24.17-$32.59 per hour, depending on experience.
