A key role for this position will be leading software design and architecture efforts, as well as performing updates and defect repair of systems developed by the client. This will involve working closely with all members of the development team throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure smooth delivery according to project milestones.

The successful candidate will use their depth of full stack software development knowledge to introduce best practices to our clients. They must have excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and be able to communicate effectively with different engineering disciplines, project, and client leadership.

This is a hybrid position of remote work with occasional on-site client visits in the greater Seattle area.

The responsibilities include:

  • Architecting software solutions to fulfill project requirements
  • Defining project requirements and resolving problems through user consultation
  • Performing software development, coding, testing, and review activities
  • Supporting design, estimation, and planning activities
  • Championing software development best practices on the project
  • Enabling the project team to produce a quality product
  • Mentoring more junior engineers where required

Key qualifications for this position include 10+ years of full stack software development experience. You should also have excellent knowledge of front-end web programming, strong fundamentals in operating systems and network protocols, and strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this role is estimated at $160,000 to $199,000 based on current market data and the location in the greater Seattle area. Total compensation includes Stock Options and eligibility for bonus programs, comprehensive benefits such as medical and vision insurance, and paid time off.
