Your Role
As an Infusion Specialist - Home Care, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to our patients in their homes. You will work one-on-one with each patient, caring for them in a personalized manner.

Your Responsibilities
* Provide professional nursing care to Amerita's patients
* Collaborate with pharmacy staff, physicians, and patients to develop and monitor therapy goals
* Assess assigned patients, establish, and implement the Plan of Care
* Manage vascular access devices, insert peripheral infusion devices or peripherally inserted catheters (if certified)
* Educate patients and caregivers
* Evaluate progress toward goals, make recommendations to physicians for changes in the Plan of Care based on patients' needs
* Coordinate nursing care with home health and other community agencies as indicated

Requirements
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
* Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice
* Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Nurse
* Previous infusion and home health care experience preferred
* Extensive experience in IV therapy preferred
* Current CPR certification
* Flexible schedule with availability to work various shift models
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Valid driver's license and auto insurance
* Must meet company standards for driving record and age requirement
