Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at The Davis Community. As a CNA, you will provide direct personal care for our residents and routine, daily upkeep of their residences. You will also assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide guidance and support to our residents as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assist with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Perform daily tidying and upkeep of resident rooms.
  • Assist residents with eating and clearing tables after meals.
  • Deliver meal trays to residents who are unable to join us in the dining room.
  • Participate in resident-centered activity programs and transport residents as needed.
  • Perform other personal services to residents under the supervision of the Resident Care Coordinator.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be a Certified Nurse Aide of an accredited program and possess a current nurse aide certificate for the state of North Carolina.
  • Must be certified as a Medication Technician in the state of North Carolina.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
