Job Title: Physician - Family Medicine Specialist

MHC Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Physician - Family Medicine Specialist to join our integrated team at the Santa Catalina Health Center, located in Catalina, AZ.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will provide clinical leadership and oversight to the professional support staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional service. As a Physician - Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing health care services to patients, developing and implementing medical policies, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the professional support staff
  • Develop and implement medical policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide health care services to patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Board Certification/Recertification (preferably) or Board Eligible in Specialty, Internal Medicine, Family Practice
  • Completion and maintenance of annual CME requirements for licensure
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state
  • Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing with accepted healthcare plans
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years experience in Medical Practice preferred
  • Experience in a group medicine practice setting is preferred
