Job Summary for Automotive Technician
We are an independently owned and locally operated full-service shop seeking an Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our team. Our shop offers a fast-paced environment with a mix of routine maintenance, brakes, steering/suspension, engine repair, and engine diagnostics on all makes and models domestic, import, and euro.
Responsibilities:
* Inspect customers' vehicles utilizing Meineke's digital inspection platform
* Perform routine maintenance and diagnose and repair automotive vehicles to meet Meineke's high-quality standards
* Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repair
* Uphold Meineke's commitment to customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing customer concerns professionally
Qualifications:
* Two years of experience working in an automotive repair shop
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
* Must have tools, hand tools, air/electric power tools, and tool storage
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
* A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* ASE Certification and NC State Inspection License are preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
* Hourly pay guaranteed on a 5-day work week (not to exceed 50 hours)
* Commission goals are set to reward your production
* Direct Deposit payroll, paid weekly
