About the Position:

  • Support teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
  • Develop positive relationships with parents and children.
  • Assist in record keeping and documentation.
  • Participate in pre-service and in-service training.
  • Implement Head Start Performance Standards.
  • Lead classes in teacher's absence.
  • Assess children's developmental progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid state issued driver's license and CDL within 90 days of employment.

Salary: $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
