Essbase Hyperion Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Essbase Hyperion Developer to join our team at Diverse Lynx LLC. As an Essbase Hyperion Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Hyperion Essbase Planning applications and databases.

• Develop and implement Hyperion Essbase Planning cubes, including outlines, load rules, calculation scripts, partitions, web forms, and security.
• Design and implement security models and protocols to ensure data integrity and confidentiality within the Essbase environment.
• Tune and optimize Planning applications and Essbase databases for optimal data load, calculation, and query performance.
• Develop system automation using Esscmd, Maxl scripts, Perl, Unix scripting, and Windows batch.
• Implement and upgrade large Oracle Hyperion and data warehouse environments.
• Design and implement data models for OLAP and OLTP-based data warehouse systems.
• Develop various reporting structures and create system and user documents.
• Create Smart View ad hoc sheets for troubleshooting, data analysis, and reporting.

• 7 to 10+ years of Hyperion Essbase Planning experience.
• Extensive experience developing and working with FP&A planning models.
• Ability to develop Hyperion Essbase Planning cubes, including outlines, load rules, calculation scripts, partitions, web forms, and security.
• Experience with all EPM Planning objects, including rules, forms, integrations, data management objects, dimensions, dashboards, security models, variables, and reports.
• Strong command of Block Storage (BSO) concepts, including implications of dense/sparse dimensionality.
• Hands-on knowledge of creating and updating existing integrations with FDMEE.
• Advanced level experience in migration of all Hyperion artifacts (metadata, data, security, code) across multiple environments and across different versions of Oracle EPM, using Oracle-provided tools (lcm, export, copy, scripts).
• Ability to develop system automation using Esscmd, Maxl scripts, Perl, Unix scripting, and Windows batch.
