JOB SUMMARY:

The Sanitation Specialist is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within the facility, including both warehouse and production areas. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment.


WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of various machinery, support equipment, and conveyor systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, and designated workspaces.
  • Conduct general maintenance tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and trash disposal.
  • Prioritize and manage work orders based on departmental needs.
  • Adhere to all Food Safety, Sanitation, and Safety protocols.
  • Ensure proper handling of all products in accordance with SQF standards.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain cleanliness of the facility, addressing any sanitation opportunities.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Comply with all company policies and relevant state/federal regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Minimum of one year in sanitation or maintenance roles.

Skills: Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.

Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and able to work independently with attention to detail.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring physical stamina.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is primarily conducted in a warehouse setting, with exposure to various environmental conditions. Regularly required to operate material handling equipment safely.
