Utility Clerk

Essential Knowledge:
* Completion of ongoing training as outlined in the Cosentino's Learning Plan.
Non-Essential Knowledge:
* A valid liquor license may be required prior to commencing work.

Skills:
The following skills are essential for this position:
Core Responsibilities:
* Implement proper bagging techniques to reduce product damage and enhance efficiency.
* Adhere to Cosentino's Customer Service Standards.
* Familiarize yourself with store items, procedures, and policies to assist customers effectively.
* Deliver groceries and assist customers with loading their vehicles when requested.
* Help customers locate items within the store.
* Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot, ensuring they are clean and safe for use.
* Conduct price checks for cashiers as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety in the sales floor, cashier areas, and restrooms.
* Address customer complaints professionally and know when to involve management.
* Comply with health regulations, sanitation guidelines, and safety procedures.
* Operate and maintain all equipment safely and competently.
* Meet or exceed productivity standards for team and individual performance.
* Exhibit strong verbal and interpersonal skills for positive interactions with customers and peers.
* Demonstrate basic math and reading skills required for the role.
* Follow all regulations regarding alcohol and tobacco sales.

Physical Requirements:
The following physical activities may be part of the scheduled shifts:
Essential Abilities:
* Push and pull grocery items and carts, exerting up to 25 lbs of force.
* Stand and walk for extended periods on hard surfaces.
* Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs to a height of 34 inches.
* Bend and squat as necessary.
* Work in cooler conditions as required.

Non-Essential Abilities:
* Climb a ladder, potentially up to 5ft (if applicable).
