About the Senior Financial Accountant Opportunity:
Overview of the Role:
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and cash transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices. The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, as well as providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed assets for accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure effective financial management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience or 6 years of general ledger accounting experience.
- Job costing and construction accounting experience are highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits:
