Irrigation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team at Texas Waterboys Inc. in the Dallas Metroplex area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underground lawn sprinkler system repair and installation, with excellent knowledge of irrigation controllers, valves, and wiring issues.
This is a full-time position that requires physical abilities such as trunk strength, manual dexterity, and wrist-finger movement to perform essential job functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installs new drip and sprinkler systems
- Removes old systems and recovers reusable equipment
- Sets and maintains times on computer and electronic valve clocks
- Troubleshoots computerized electronic systems, irrigation controllers, solenoid valves, and heads of all types
- Maintains accurate records of work completed and materials used
Working Conditions:
This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity levels.
Education and Experience:
A valid driver's license and two years of experience in underground lawn sprinkler system repair and installation are required.
Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
