We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including assessment, treatment, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities:- Consult with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide consultation, instruction, and technical direction to medical, nursing, and other staff members
- Assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, including those requiring mechanical ventilation
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Current New Mexico Respiratory Therapist License
- Two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment (desirable)
- CRT or RRT certification
- BLS & ACLS required
- PALS and NRP certification within 60 days of hire
