Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements
  • Manage and post journal entries for various clients
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations and prepare sales tax documentation
  • Generate quarterly and annual payroll tax reports, including W2s, W3s, and Forms 1099 MISC
  • Oversee monthly financial closing processes and related tasks
  • Complete assignments within allocated timeframes while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Ensure all work meets the firm's quality standards and familiarize yourself with our policies
  • Communicate engagement matters effectively to managers and partners
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service through timely follow-ups

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
  • 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Currently pursuing CPA certification
  • Experience in a CPA firm is advantageous

Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Solid understanding of General Ledger, Payroll Tax Return preparation, Sales Tax Returns, Account Reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capable of managing multiple engagements simultaneously while ensuring accuracy
  • Professional interaction skills with both staff and clients
  • Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
