Job DescriptionThis role involves conducting field-based investigations by visiting policyholders' homes to assess property damage. You'll use claims handling software, a company car, and laptop to determine claims-related damage and write estimates in a paperless environment.
You'll apply strong customer service skills to negotiate with policyholders to settle claims, travel for mini CAT duty when required, and work closely with agents, witnesses, repair facilities, contractors, police and fire departments, state and county fraud and arson personnel, special investigators, attorneys, expert witnesses, and members of the medical profession.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field-based investigations by visiting policyholders' homes to assess property damage.
- Use claims handling software, a company car, and laptop to determine claims-related damage and write estimates in a paperless environment.
- Negotiate with policyholders to settle claims, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
- Work closely with various stakeholders, including agents, witnesses, repair facilities, contractors, law enforcement, and industry experts.
