  1. -Arrive at work punctually and provide advance notice of any absences. Each residence typically requires staff on-site 24/7, with only one staff member on duty at any given time.
  2. -Participate in monthly off-site paid training sessions and/or attend monthly health & safety meetings.
  3. Collaborate as a team member, offering support and motivation, assisting in the onboarding of new staff, and working together to ensure that the Group Home program maintains a safe, supportive, and therapeutic atmosphere for all clients and staff.
  4. -Review and update daily logs as necessary.
  5. -Observe and engage in the daily activities of clients. Be available to provide assistance as needed. Encourage involvement in goals and activities suggested by their Case Manager and/or treatment plans. Offer appropriate prompting and, when necessary, directly assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning, social skills development, and participation in activities.
  6. -Work collaboratively with other Group Home program staff to ensure a consistent, structured, and therapeutic environment is upheld at all times.
  7. -Provide medication monitoring services as required or assigned.

-Maintain an understanding of established guidelines governing participation, behavior, and general expectations regarding clients. Reinforce rules and expectations as needed. Promptly report any issues or concerns and seek guidance from the Site Manager(s) and/or Residential Manager.

-Document relevant observations and any other pertinent information in the records daily. Collaborate closely with the assigned Case Manager as necessary to maintain accurate records, ensuring that required documentation is completed and/or updated promptly.

-Transport clients (in company-owned vehicles) as necessary to facilitate participation in off-site activities, attend appointments, or assist with shopping or other personal needs. Conduct a vehicle safety inspection and complete the vehicle mileage log each time the vehicle is utilized. Promptly report any vehicle maintenance or safety requirements to the Site Manager.

-Engage in the daily upkeep of the residence and yard. All residential sites should be maintained in a tidy, orderly, and clean condition to ensure they pass inspections by any contracting or regulatory agency.

-Ensure that appliances and safety equipment are in working order. Promptly report any needs to the Site Manager for follow-up.

-Follow up on needs identified in the weekly inspection reports. Make minor repairs as necessary and promptly report major repair needs or issues to the Site Manager.

-Maintain a comprehensive understanding of emergency procedures and appropriate evacuation protocols, ensuring they are adhered to. Keep a clearly posted evacuation route in case of emergencies, emergency contact information next to each phone, and clearly posted first-aid information. Ensure that essential safety equipment such as flashlights, smoke detectors, and the first-aid kit are properly functioning and stocked with necessary supplies. Promptly report any needs to the Site Manager for follow-up.
