Department Overview:
The Housekeeping Department comprises various roles, including Room Attendant, House Attendant, and Lobby Attendant, all working collectively to uphold cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas. Our goal is to consistently deliver the highest level of guest satisfaction through exceptional cleanliness and service.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting pay at $14.00 per hour, increasing to $15.00 after the initial six months.
  • Paid biweekly.
  • Comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts at numerous properties.

Work Schedule:
The hospitality industry operates 24/7, and all candidates must be available to work during peak times, including special events. While we strive to manage overtime, it may be necessary during busy periods.
  • Full-time & part-time positions available.
  • Part-time option: 8-29 hours per week based on business needs.
  • Full-time option: 30-40 hours per week based on business needs.

Shift Options:
  • Full-time Room Attendant: Approximately 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (projected 6-8 hour shifts based on business needs); must be available on weekends.
  • Part-time House Attendant: Day shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; open availability preferred.
  • Part-time Overnight Lobby/Public Space Attendant: Overnight shift 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM; weekend availability required.
  • Full-time Laundry Attendant: Shift times vary between 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM; must be available on specific days.

Essential Functions Summary:
Room Attendant:
  • Change linens and remake beds according to property standards.
  • Ensure thorough cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Maintain organization and stock of work carts and storage areas.
  • Utilize and care for equipment and supplies properly.
  • Adhere to lost and found procedures with respect for guest property.

House Attendant:
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned guest floors through various cleaning tasks.
  • Assist Room Attendants with heavy lifting and trash removal.
  • Ensure linen closets are stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Provide courteous assistance to guests and co-workers.

Lobby/Public Space Attendant:
  • Ensure cleanliness of all public areas through various cleaning methods.
  • Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests.
  • Maintain public restrooms and other common areas.

Laundry Attendant:
  • Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding linens.
  • Monitor linen inventory and assist other attendants as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred.
  • Ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
  • Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks.
  • Effective communication skills with a positive attitude.
