About the Position:
As a Physician (Family Medicine) with the Defense Health Agency, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to patients in a multi-disciplinary setting. This position requires a strong foundation in family medicine, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Participate in continuing medical education programs to stay current with the latest medical knowledge and best practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct medical research and contribute to the development of new medical protocols and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including residents and medical students.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school, as well as a valid medical license and board certification in family medicine.
