Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Rheumatologist to join our team. As a Pediatric Rheumatologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with various rheumatological conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatological conditions, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and vasculitis.
- Perform joint injections and joint aspirations in conjunction with the pediatric sedation team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in pediatric rheumatology.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree required.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Rheumatology.
- Unrestricted medical license in Texas (must obtain prior to start date).
- American Heart Association BLS and PALS certification.
