Key Responsibilities:

  • Check in and assign rooms to hotel guests, addressing any inquiries regarding hotel amenities, guest registration, and local attractions.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts, including making, confirming, and canceling reservations.
  • Process guest billing, collect payments, and provide change as necessary, ensuring all charges are accurately recorded.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls, messages, and faxes using appropriate communication methods.
  • Ensure that all services and rooms are accurately reflected in guest statements, assisting with check-out processes as needed.
  • Verify guest credit and establish payment methods in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services and local recommendations, documenting any feedback or complaints for management review.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Utilize a moderately complex computer system to input and retrieve information accurately.
  • Report to work on time and in the appropriate uniform, adhering to company policies.
  • Follow all safety and security protocols, reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions to management, and completing required safety training.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including assisting other departments when necessary.
  • Assist with breakfast setup and manage evening laundry tasks.
