Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field with RHIA certification required; CCS/CDIP certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in ICD-10 coding, 3 years in coding consulting or DRG auditing, and 4 years in hospital coding supervision required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of ICD, CPT, DRGs, APCs, and medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in statistical data analysis and electronic health records.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
