Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Multilingual Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our behavioral health department, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide culturally sensitive and effective mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide brief intervention and consultation services to patients and healthcare teams
  • Assess, treat, and develop treatment plans for established patients
  • Participate in supervision and feedback to improve patient care
  • Crisis intervention counseling and consultation services
  • Manage mental health referrals to community mental health centers
  • Resolve conflicts and model strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Meet patient encounter and documentation requirements
  • Follow up with high-risk patients and coordinate care for complex cases
  • Act as a group visit team health educator and consultant
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field
  • Knowledge of short-term, strategic, goal-oriented therapy skills (SFBT)
  • Familiarity with current DSM and ICD diagnosis codes
  • Sensitivity to low-income, ethnic minority communities
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
