Program Details: DCCA serves as the primary contractor for a critical government initiative that leverages emerging technologies to manage substantial data processing needs. This program encompasses technical domains such as commercial cloud solutions, high-performance computing, and enterprise architecture, playing a vital role in the National Security of the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the formulation of systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
- Oversee system requirements and derived requirements to guarantee the delivery of production systems aligned with established system architectures, such as the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Service-oriented Architecture.
- Assist in the allocation of requirements to specific hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components.
- Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews necessitating cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Conduct analyses of technical alternatives for projects and provide preliminary recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Ability to correlate events and telemetry visible in dashboards to identify system issues.
- Document system behavior in response to issues and derive insights from data.
- Design experiments to isolate and characterize specific behaviors.
- Collaborate with analytic developers to articulate analytics requirements.
- Monitor dashboards for abnormal system behavior.
- Proficiency in Linux, experience in designing technical experiments, an analytical mindset, and a solid understanding of system telemetry and its correlation with system operations, failure rates, and reliability analysis of components. Experience with complex High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems is essential.
Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma or GED with twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline with twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline with eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience, or a PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline with eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.
