Speech-Language Therapist Opportunity in Escondido, CA

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a full-time school-based role near Escondido, California.
About the RoleThis position involves working with K-6 students to help them develop effective communication skills and overcome speech and language difficulties. You will be part of a collaborative team, working alongside educators and parents to help students achieve success in their academic and personal development.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' speech and language challenges, and develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs.
- Provide tailored therapy sessions that focus on speech, language, fluency, and social communication, ensuring students make significant progress towards their goals.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate speech therapy strategies into the school environment, promoting seamless transitions and maximizing student outcomes.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, sharing insightful updates on students' progress and providing recommendations for future growth.
- Maintain meticulous records of student progress, communicating effectively with parents and school staff to ensure everyone is aligned and informed.
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- California SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Prior experience working with K-6 students is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- In-depth knowledge of school-based therapy processes and IEPs.
- The ability to manage a full caseload of students while delivering high-quality support and guidance.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a lasting impact on students' lives while being part of a supportive and dynamic team.
