We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Monroe Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall physical aspects of our communities meet the established standards for safety, appearance, and operation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair.
- Conduct property and unit inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
- Maintain the property's curb appeal and general cleanliness to ensure a positive experience for our residents.
- Schedule and manage maintenance tasks through our Make-Ready Board system.
- Purchase materials and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Ensure that maintenance teams deliver Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing to all our residents.
- Previous experience in Apartment/Multi-Family Maintenance is required.
- English language proficiency (read, speak, and write) is essential.
- The ability to pass a full background check is mandatory.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and appliance repair knowledge.
- Experience in an affordable housing environment is preferred.
- Technical training and license is preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate between $19-$21/hour.
- $500 Sign-on Bonus and $1,500 Retention Bonus available.
